Gardens and Galleries is a tour of private gardens in the Oakleigh Garden District, which also features the work of selected local artists on display in the natural setting. It is a fundraiser for Friends of Washington Square, and all proceeds go toward maintenance of this historic site and fountain. Gardens and Galleries also caps off National Preservation Week and draws attention to the benefits of preserving Mobile's historic neighborhoods.
