Every investment in Downtown Mobile is important, no matter the size. In fact, it is the combination of projects, both small and large, that make our city center more interesting and sustainable. The staff of the Downtown Mobile Alliance offers project facilitation, expertise, contacts and an access point for the array of economic development tools, incentives and programs available. Economic Development Loan Fund
The City of Mobile has launched a new $50 million low-interest loan program to support development, job creation, and long-term economic growth. Projects across the city—including downtown and beyond—may be eligible, with a minimum loan of $1 million. Applications open March 2, 2026. Learn more and apply.
