  • Saenger Theatre
    Erected in January 1927, the stately European-style Saenger Theatre in Mobile has witnessed thousands of top performers, acts, ballets, and musicals throughout its eightly year existence. The Saenger is an historic landmark, treasured for its architectural beauty and ties to Mobile's cultural history, as well as for the caliber of entertainment it offers the community today. With its new state of the art sound system, professional stage rigging, and VIP facilities, the Saenger Theatre truly lives up to its reputation as "Alabama's Greatest Showplace."

  • Space 301
    In August 2003, the Mobile Press-Register donated its former building to the nonprofit "Centre fot the Living Arts" which then converted the rare warehouse into a 7,000 sq. ft. showcase for contemporary art. A $5.2 million renovation was completed in the summer of 2008 and the CLA welcomed over 3200 guests on the night of its grand re-opening. In conjunction with rotating exhibits, Space 301 offers studio art courses in a number of mediums and boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of Downtown Mobile from its third floor auditorium and rooftop terrace.
