The Downtown Mobile Alliance is a non-profit organization established to facilitate the work of the Downtown Mobile District Management Corporation and Main Street Mobile, Inc. Established in August 2006, the Alliance is a membership organization designed to create more exposure for downtown redevelopment efforts, both within the downtown community and throughout the city at large.

The Downtown Mobile District Management Corporation was established in May 2005 to manage the 75-block property owner-financed district (Business Improvement District) that funds the activities of the Crew of Stewards and Crew of Regents as well as economic development activities in cooperation with Main Street Mobile and the Downtown Mobile Alliance.

Main Street Mobile is a private philanthropic organization whose focus is the entire area within the Hank Aaron Loop. Its mission is “to make downtown a vibrant and fun place to live, work and play by encouraging, promoting and actively assisting business, residential, and cultural activities and projects, and by facilitating the creation and management of appealing public spaces.”
