The Downtown Mobile Business Improvement District provides enhanced services throughout a 83-block, property-owner-funded district. Our team of BID Ambassadors works seven days a week to maintain public spaces, assist residents and visitors, support downtown businesses and provide a friendly, visible presence throughout the district.
Meet the BID Ambassadors
Our Downtown Ambassadors are a friendly, informed and highly visible presence throughout the district. Traveling by foot, bicycle and vehicle, they patrol downtown daily, assist visitors and workers, connect with businesses and respond when help is needed.

Keep It Clean
Daily maintenance keeps sidewalks, streets, and public spaces cared for throughout the district, including litter and trash removal, graffiti removal, weed abatement, and regular power washing.
Keep It Safe
Daily patrols provide an extra set of eyes and ears throughout downtown. Ambassadors monitor and report concerns, assist those who need help and supplement the work of building security and the Mobile Police Department.
Keep It Beautiful
Ambassadors help care for downtown through ongoing beautification and preventative maintenance, including seasonal plantings, landscaping, weed abatement, and regular attention to public spaces throughout the district.
